Description

- This package includes a complete M-2 gimbal that can be adapted to sleds with 1.5", 1.58" or 1.75" diameter posts.

- Fits 3/4" arm post, but also comes with an insert for 5/8" arm post.

- The control box requires 15mm compendium rods.
- Incl. a brand new docking bracket with nylon protection & lock !

Revolutionary bolt-on module that mounts around the sled's gimbal and ensures that the horizon and/or tilt 0-100% stable as desired. You balance the rig completely neutrally (no drop height for 3-4 seconds) and in dynamic balance - the rest is taken care of by Volt which creates an artificial bottom weight!

- You can work in standard mode: you define a given starting position (roll and/or tilt) that the sled will then hold - even when panning.

- Or work in "sticky" mode: the sled stays at the tilt angle you go to (in other words, you don't need to let go or hold the given angle - Volt holds it).
 
Its magic! - or as one operator said after a test: "It is like having the gentle hand of Garrett (Brown) on the gimbal at all times".
 
And best of all: Go directly to low-mode (empty in picture) without adjusting anything (perhaps the angle of the monitor) - this is possible because the rig is neutrally balanced and Volt creates a new artificial bottom weight as soon as you have turned the rig 180°.
 
Lots of options for setting different parameters to adapt Volt to both users and/or type of job. The manual shows examples of ready-made pre-sets. For example: ROCK AND ROLL, GYRO SIMULATOR, WHIP PANS, VEHICLE MODE, FRICTION MODE.
 
Volt is "rig-neutral" and the camera is not mounted higher either. In other words, you don't need to adjust the rig (e.g. make the post longer).

NOTE: It is not recommended to purchase Volt for the first generation EFP which has an aluminum post, as these are too soft for the gimbal clamp lock. It must be a carbon fiber post.
